This is a very famous done by one of my favorite artists, Edgar Degas. It is easy to point out that the ballet dancer in the foreground is the focal point of the painting, because the background i not only far off in the distnce, but is also made blurry. From the use of Degas's techniques, he created a very emotionnally active piece as well as spatially in depth.

This painting is very fun and bright in colors, which instantly drew my eyes to it. It was originally an art mural done, and is of an anonomous city. In this mural, you can see that the focal point is not on the forground, but rather on the middle and the backgound almost. I think the artist did this because it makes the city look larger, and then you can see that it is mestled along the water. Oh how I hope to go wherever that is one day!
